A course exploring the historical, philosophical, social, and cultural contexts that shape education in the United States. Students examine how schools function within broader societal structures and develop critical frameworks for understanding teaching and learning.
Responsibilities included designing and facilitating course discussions; developing assignments and assessments; providing feedback on academic writing and reflections; and supporting undergraduate and graduate students in their professional development as future educators.
